Start with the parts that cannot move
For a two-night weekend, enter the travel dates, where you are sleeping and any booked journey. Then add reservations with a fixed start. A train and a dinner booking carry different constraints from a café you might try.
Keep the hotel’s check-in information with the stay. Do not turn the whole stay into an activity that occupies every hour, or assume you will be free immediately after arriving. Luggage, rest and getting oriented take real time.
Make a small plan for each day
| Day | Fixed anchor | Leave flexible |
|---|---|---|
| Friday | Arrival and accommodation | A nearby meal after settling in |
| Saturday | One booked visit and dinner | A walk or café if the gap permits |
| Sunday | Checkout and the return journey | A short stop near your route |
This is a planning example, not a recommended itinerary for a specific destination. Check opening hours, booking terms and actual journey estimates before relying on it. A quiet afternoon can be part of a successful trip.
Keep the trip and everyday life connected
Nowhop’s My trips view focuses on the chosen travel period. All plans includes your broader schedule. An appointment outside the trip may still matter: a call on Saturday or a commitment after the return train should not vanish from the time you are considering.
You can enter plans manually or import selected events from chosen iPhone calendars. These are local copies, not two-way calendar synchronization. If a source appointment changes, review the copy you are relying on.
Add one experience when you actually have space
Open Discover from a gap in Plan, or choose a place and then its date and time. Review the journey from the previous place, the visit itself and the journey to the next commitment. Unknown directions are not zero-minute journeys.
After confirming, the stop joins that date’s Plan. Your day route shows the intended sequence; the Map and Passport keep actual recorded movement separately. You can change your mind without inventing a completed visit.
